Building homes with care, precision & attention to detail.

We believe quality is not just about materials, but about creating spaces that are functional, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to support the way people live, grow, and connect.

Greater Construction was founded on a simple desire: to create
affordable homes for families in Auckland. From delivering government-funded housing for the Pasifika community to raising funds for local organisations, every project reflects our commitment to people as much as it does to craftsmanship.

Why Choose Greater Construction?

I’m Shaun, the owner of Greater Construction, and my journey in the building industry began with a simple desire: to create affordable homes for families in Auckland. After completing my building apprenticeship in Australia, I spent a decade running my own commercial construction company, delivering projects for various government entities.
Upon returning to New Zealand in 2022, I recognised a pressing need for real affordable housing. What drives me every day is not just the act of building, but the relationships I forge along the way. I believe in empowering those around me — whether it’s my team, clients, or the communities we serve.
We are proud to be the first company to deliver government-funded housing for the Pasifika community. We’ve also successfully delivered a new office for the Franklin Basketball Association by raising funds and collating generous local trades and suppliers who gave back to the community at no cost.
We’ve built a reputation for delivering high quality affordable homes with reliability. Our repeat clients, like KCR Properties, have come to trust us — and we’re honoured to have built 17 homes for them across multiple projects.
